One of my colleagues was primed for her interview with Examining Chaplains, knowing that they would ask which character in the Bible she most identified with and why. She had a fine, elegant rationale worked out for why she identified with Simon Peter. They asked the question, she opened her mouth, and out came, "Er...Balaam's ass." (Thy ordained her anyway, thanks be to God)
