A completely free Sunday morning is a rare thing indeed for clergy, but that is what we had this morning. Nothing at al was scheduled. Although we had tasks to work on if we chose, how we spent the morning was entirely up to us. Some went to the beach, some read the New York Times or worked the crossword; others watched the Sunday morning new shows. I chose to sleep a bit later than usual, have breakfast on the patio, and then work on my end of conference project a bit.
Tomorrow we all head out. Eight days seemed like forevah when I got here, but now it seems like it went by incredibly quickly. This time tomorrow night I should be at my mother's place where I'll be until mid day Wednesday when I leave for home. Where it will be crazy busy from the time I get back--Thanksgiving week will be upon us--and Christmas won't be too far behind. Yikes.
