I am currently in sunny Florida (and it has been SO pleasant) but I know that when I arrive back home next week, winter will soon be upon us. Apropos of that, here is this week's Friday Five:
1. What is your favorite movie for watching when curled up under a wooly blanket?
I love a good romantic comedy, some thing like Sleepless in Seattle or You've Got Mail
2. Likewise, what book?
Harry Potter (any of the 7) or a great historical novel like Winds of War.
3. What foods do you tend to cook/eat when it gets cold?
A big pot of soup.
4. What do you like to do if you get a "snow day"?
Sleep in, read, sit by a roaring fire.
5. Do you like winter sports or outdoor activities, or are you more likely to be inside playing a board game? Do you have a favorite (indoors or out)?
I might take a walk in the snow, but otherwise I'll be inside playing Apples to Apples or Scrabble or Bananagrams if there's a crowd, or a computer game if I'm alone.
