There's a pattern emerging here

~The weather here is abominable. The day started with a lovely snow, but around noon it turned to rain--and not just a little rain, but a downpour. Then as a it got dark the rain slowed to a drizzle and it got very foggy, and then a few hours later the wind picked up and it started pouring again. Before dawn the temperature will fall below freezing, and there will be ice everywhere--especially in the church parking lot. Ugh.

~Right now the w:50ind is just howling outside.

~This whole snow followed by rain thing has been the pattern this winter. It has snowed far more frequently than it did last winter, but just about every time the snow is followed by rain/freezing rain/ sleet/wintry mix within 24 hours.

~Meanwhile, as soon as I hit publish I'm gong to get up and go to bed. I'm exhausted and ever since I got home from work I've been on the couch, dozing off from time to time, with no energy to do anything else. But I continue to stay up til midnight every night. Another pattern that needs to be broken.

ETA: I actually hit publish at 10:52 because I kept dozing off while writing it. Now I really am going to bed!
