The weather here has been nuts. First it will snow--great, I love snow and there is nothing more peaceful than watching snow gently drift down, or seeing a fresh snow fall all around. But then, usually the next day, it rains. And rain on snow is nasty.
The first time this cycle occurred, a couple of weeks ago, it rained enough that the snow all just melted. But since the new year, it generally rains enough to make things really gross, but not enough to get rid of the snow, or even get the sidewalks clear. The parking lot at church is particularly prone to being icy, icy, icy.
This week so far: Snow from Saturday night until Sunday morning. Rain all Sunday morning. Snow yesterday morning. And now my weather pixie says it is currently raining. Sigh.
*not that the weather has a mind...
