~how expensive the senior year of high school can be.
~Today I paid for four college application fees and a cap and gown. I've already paid for the SAT (twice) and two AP tests (okay, those weren't actually during senior year--but he's taking three more this year!). I saved a bundle by taking his senior picture myself (and it turned out quite nicely, thank you very much.) And tux for the prom will at least be less than a prom dress!
~All this is just warm-up for next year when the real financial pain will be felt, I suppose.

what, they haven't hit you up for the senior trip yet? or grad night? etc.?
it is a lovely irony that we are dealing with college costs by taking more loans, just as the economy melts. so far, we haven't been cut off. woot!
