I've been meaning to get the flower cabs for weeks now, and never got around to it. You did it in one weekend! Good for you.

The flowers on the cabs have something to do with the anniversary of cabs and a major public art project allowing children in schools and hospitals to paint the flowers that go on the cabs.

The image on the gate comes from an old black and white movie...not sure of the title, but it's about a trip to the moon. The explorers get into a cannon and are shot to the moon in what is, essentially, a bombshell. The capsule is shown approaching the moon, which has a face. You see the result - a black eye for the moon!
