It seems like I've always had more books than places to keep them--until I moved here, where I was lucky enough to have a few built-in bookcases, and an office right next door. For a short while--a very short while--I even had some extra space. But there's something about books--I just keep on acquiring them. So I've reached this point again:
books in the pantry....
books on the coffee table...
books in the bedroom...
more books in the bedroom...
and yes, even books in the bathroom.
I think it might be time to buy another bookcase.

So many books, so little time?! or shelf space! Alas, we are at the point of not enough wall space to put the bookshelves against...

hey mom... uh, well I seem to have the same addiction you do and well, I was thinking about mailing some books home from Korea so that I can bring clothes home, too... so uh, make room for some more...
oh, and remember my storage unit. I'll be needing to empty that out by the summer. Guess what's in there? Mostly books... uh....

I know this problem well. And I was also nearing the point of running out of wall space for more shelves. One of the upsides of the new family structure--should clear out some bookshelf space so I can unpack the rest of the boxes of my books, and maybe clear up space for another bookshelf.
