Candidate quiz

In my previous post I mentioned internet quizzes that supposedly help you figure out which candidate is closest to your opinion on some the major issues. Here's one from abc news and here's another.

Let me hasten to add that I don't take these completely seriously--they're just sort of amusing. In reality the choices they give in the answers often don't contain what I really think. And the truth is that any candidate I agreed with on everything probably wouldn't be electable.

You mean we can't make major decisions based on Internet quizzes?

Okay, that was funny, right up until I matched with Mike Gravel...

Hey, I'm up there with Mike Gravel, too--he's #3 on one site (Kucinich was my first match on the ABC site, then Biden and Gravel). On the other site, it says I match with Christopher Dodd, with Clinton/Obamaa/Kucinish tied for second.

Yeah, I matched Gravel, too. I confess I don't really know anything about him.

Chris Dodd?

And then Kucinish, Bill Richardson, and Biden on the abc quiz...weird.

Ooh, NSLS, I am your perfect match!

Another Gravel match, as my #2. And I'm another one who doesn't know much about him. Hmmm. I wonder why no one knows about him if so many match up with him?

Kucinich was my #1 match. I backed him during the last election, and I still completely agree with so much of what he has to say. Too bad he doesn't stand a chance.

Oops, I'm back, having just taken the second quiz. Again, Kucinich was my #1 (no surprise to me) and Obama and Hillary were tied for #2. (I would love to see Obama get it, not sure on Hillary.)

Who the heck wrote those questions? I didn't agree with wording or most of the answers...

I came out with Gravel, Kucinich and Biden on one. The other quiz gave me a top three result of people I had never heard of... Apparently Obama, Hilary and Edwards don't have many differences according to those quizzes... interesting.
