I keep NPR on much of the time in my TV-less household, but I can hardly bear to listen to the news these days. But I've been following Scrivener's commentary on the most recent shennanigans of the current adminsitration with interest--he relieves me of having to come up with my own rants becasuse I can just read his and go "Uh huh". "No shit". Etc.
How many times have I thought since 2000, "well, things certainly can't be any worse than this" only to be proven wrong yet again?! I do not understand how people can still back Dubya with his prevaricating and misleading and outright lying. Get a grip people. We need to get this guy out of office. The only problem with impeaching him and giving him the boot (not that I thinkthat is going to happen) is that then Cheney would be (completely) in charge.

Can you believe it was less than a year ago that he was sworn in for a second term?
It seems like lifetimes.
It's all so frustrating.
I am astonished day after day at the crap with which these people seem to get away. It's disheartening in the extreme.
I don't blog about it much because so many more people write about it more eloquently than I do, but it does drive me crazy. I can't even listen to him talk.
